Before We Start: |
- Cover the rooms where no hardwood are installed with plastic sheets.
- Remove all of the furniture to a safer area, including the sofa, China Cabinet, grand-father clocks and even pianos.

Preparation of sub-floor: |
- Hammer all of the popped-up nails due to the aging and the movement of the plywood.
- Secure all areas that squeaks with screws
(See Sub-floor Requirement for more information).
- Sand the warped sub floor's edges for smoothness of the surface of the hardwood floor.
- Clean all debris with vacuum machine.

Installing the hardwood: |
- On time installation is guaranteed.
- Install floor from several cartons at the same time to ensure good color, and shade mixtures.
- Stagger ends of the boards at least 6” during installation to ensure a more favorable overall appearance of the floor.
- If the humidity exceeds 14%, we will not install.
- Cover sub-floor with Rosin paper for sound proof.
- Notify homeowner if concrete floor is uneven for gluing down the wood installation.
- Use only pre-finish trims (shoe molding, reducer, threshold, stair nosing).
- Around the fireplace, we use “picture frame” pre-finish transitions at no extra charge.

- Our experienced installers know exactly where the alarm, and telephone wires are, and we are very careful not to cut them.
- Will go out of our way to put any speaker wires, and telephone wires under the hardwood floors without damaging them.
- By using state- of- the art Hitachi finish nailer, we minimize nail holes near the walls.
- Afraid of dust problems? We do all wood cuttings outside.
- After all the installations are done, we will vacuum the floor, and make sure there are no chips or cracks on the floor.
