Our Business - Sanding & Refinishing

Before we start sanding:
|
- We cover the rooms where no sanding is needed with plastic sheets.
- We hammer all the popped up nails.
- We clean all of the debris with the vacuum machine.
- We patch any cracks, and holes with wood filler.
* Homeowners are responsible for moving furniture and putting them back.

Sanding begins:
|
- We sand the floor with 24 to 36 grits of sand paper using high-tech machine
such as the Hummel drum sander throughout the floor.
- We sand the floor with 60 to 80 grits of sand paper throughout the floor.
- Finally, we sand the floor with 100 to 120 grits of sand paper throughout the floor.
* It is very important to sand three times for smoothness and evenness of the floor.
* Also, it is very important to use high-tech machine such as the Hummel drum sander because the best machine vacuums
99% of the dust and does not leave any dipping or streaks.

Putting a finish:
|
|
* We can put any finish you like
but we recommend these products for different floor needs.
- For high traffic area: Streeshoe finish, Pacific strong by Bona chemi, or Swedish finish. (Fast drying)
- For medium traffic area: Waterborne products such as Atlantis, or nautilus by Precision technology. (Fast drying)
- For low traffic area: oil base products such as Fast drying polyurethane by Minwax, or precision polyurethane by Precision technology. (Slow drying)
