Maintenace &: Care - Laminate
|
Care
- Place rugs or floor mats on heavy traffic areas to avoid excess wear and tear.
- Place doormats on both sides of outside entrances so that they can collect
the dirt, moisture, grime, and sand that can damage your laminate floor.
- Place glides or floor protectors under furniture legs. For items on caster wheels,
use only clean, seamless plastic wheels to prevent scratches.
|
Maintenance
- Important: Never wax, polish, sand, or lacquer your Laminate Floor.
- Spot clean your floor as needed and completely clean several times a year with Cleaner.
- Occasionally vacuum or sweep to eliminate loose dust and debris
by using a non-beater bar vaccum or a dust mop.
- Wipe up spills immediately. Avoid allowing liquids to stand on your floor.
- Wipe soiled spots with a cloth dampened with clean water or Cleaner diluted in water.
Make sure the cloth is thoroughly wrung out. Never flood the floor with water or cleaner.
- After damp cleaning, dry the floor thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Remove tough, stubborn stains such as paint, adhesive, asphalt, oil, etc. with alcohol, acetone, or nail polish remover.

- Never use a steam cleaner.
- Never use scouring powder products, steel wool, or abrasives.
because they may scratch or dull the flooring surface
